Directions to Upchurch Scientific from SeaTac Airport
| By Land |
|
From the airport, take Interstate 5 North
through Seattle and Everett. About 1 1/2 hours from the airport,
take the Burlington exit, Exit 230. Turn left at the light at
the end of the off-ramp and follow Highway 20 West. Follow the
signs to Whidbey Island/Deception Pass. This route takes you
past Deception Pass State Park, the busiest state park in Washington.
Follow Highway 20 to Oak Harbor. Look for Ault Field Road and
turn right at the light. Take a left turn at the first light
you see off of Ault Field Road (this should be Goldie Road).
Go down Goldie Road for about 1 1/2 miles. Upchurch Scientific
can be found at 619 Oak Street. You will want to check in at
the 2-story building on the left hand side of the street. Please
go up the stairs to sign in.
Travel time: approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours from SeaTac.

| By Ferry |

From the airport, take Interstate 5 north
to Everett. Follow the signs to the Mukilteo Ferry Landing.
The Mukilteo
Ferry departs approximately every 1/2 hour; crossing
time is approximately 20 minutes. Ferry traffic to Whidbey
Island is very heavy on
Friday afternoons, and may have several hours of delay. From
the Clinton landing, travel North on Highway 525/Highway 20.
Entering Oak Harbor, turn left at the stoplight that is just
after the Burger King and 7-Eleven on the right. You will still
be on Highway 20 -- follow it North through five stoplights.
At the sixth stoplight, with Jason's Restaurant and Coachman
Inn on the left and the Texaco station at the right corner,
turn left onto Goldie Road. Travel for about 3/4 of a mile.
Upchurch Scientific is located on Oak Street in the Island
Industrial
Park on the left. Turn into the first parking lot on the left.
You will want to check in at the 2-story building on the left
hand side of the street. Please go up the stairs to sign in.
Travel time: approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours from SeaTac
(Assuming no ferry delay).

time. A unique and quick way to get to Whidbey Island. This
is a seaplane flight, taking approximately 25 minutes from Seattle
