Upchurch Culture
Upchurch Scientific may be working hard to get high quality product
out the door and providing excellent customer service. But some time
is also put aside for supporting the community and having a little
bit of fun.

| An Upchurch Legend Retires |
|
 |
Hans Schick, the original Upchurch Scientific
employee retired this year. His retirement was celebrated by
a "roast" from his co-workers, such as Thom Dykas shown here
with Hans. Hans was the creator of many Upchurch products and
will be greatly missed by his co-workers and many friends through-out
the HPLC industry.

| The Warm Up |
|
 |
Half of the fun of our "Pie in the Face" fund-raiser
is the warm up. Alan enjoys taunting the thrower in an effort
to sway them from their course. It doesn't often work, but it's
fun non-the-less.

| 2002 American Cancer Society Walk |
|
 |
Each year, Upchurch Scientific puts together
a team to participate in this 24-hour walk; also raising money
towards helping to find a cure for cancer. This year we were
the S.W.A.T team, helping "exterminate" cancer.
